What is See3D?
See3D is a nonprofit organization that connects volunteers with visually impaired individuals to design, print, and distribute custom tactile 3D models to promote understanding, inclusion, and independence.
See3D x The NUTS!
Team 6133 "The NUTS!" works with See3D to recycle used plastic into new rolls of 3D printer filament. Our team collects old used, or broken 3D printed parts at competitions, local makerspaces, and our school library, and we give them to See3D.
We do this to help keep plastics out of landfills and work to make FIRST™ a more sustainable robotics organization. We have collected filament at the Central Ohio Newark Qualifier and the Ohio State Championship so far.
